Meguerditch Bouldoukian, an MBA graduate of AUB in 1964, served as a professional financial expert for banks in Lebanon, England, and Geneva. As Vice Governor of BDL (1985-1990), he represented Lebanon at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) Korea meetings in 1985 and the AMF meeting in Amman, Jordan in 1989. He served also the European Community External Affairs in Brussels from 1992-1993, as Central Banking Consultant in five Republics of CIS; namely, Central Bank of Russia, Moscow, Tyumen Oblast for restructuring SBERBANK, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia and Georgia. He is also a member at ICC Paris in the Financial Crime Risk and Policy Group since 2014. He was a professor of Commercial Banking and ancillary finance courses at AUB, NDU and USEK in Lebanon. He is the founding Dean of the Business Administration & Economics Departments at Haigazian University from 1969 until 1974. He is the author of 15 books in four languages, the most important professional book, The Management of Correspondent Banking, was labelled at SIBOS 2015 in Singapore by several bankers, as, “the Bible of Correspondent Banking.” He is the recipient of many medals, awards and commendations of which “Le Croix d’Honneur” avec Rosette no 5251 of Entente Cordiale granted by President Jacques Chirac of France, 1979; “Order of ‘Hakob Meghapart’ Medal” no 245 awarded by the National Library of the Republic of Armenia, Yerevan, 2015; and Researcher of the year, CAPITAL ISSUES award, 2007; among others.
